2025 Annual Meeting
November 14-16, 2025 ● Farmington, PA
The Conference Directors invite Fellows-in-Training/Residents* in accredited training programs in North America to submit an abstract to compete for the prize and a Travel Grant to attend the meeting on site. Only four abstracts will be selected. The $500 “Maci Lee Prize for Excellence in Asthma Research” will be awarded for the best oral abstract presentation and the runner-up will receive a prize of $250. On-site oral presentation of the abstract is preferred, but virtual presentation is an option (in which case only a $500 prize will be awarded).
To submit an abstract, please click on the link below.
TRAVEL GRANTS ARE AWARDED AS FOLLOWS:
If an abstract is accepted for presentation and the Fellow-in-Training/Resident is the author presenting the work, he/she will receive two complementary nights of accommodation ($1400 value) and reimbursement for travel expenses up to $500.
IF YOUR ABSTRACT IS ACCEPTED AND YOU RECEIVE A TRAVEL GRANT AND ATTEND, WE REQUEST THAT YOU…
1. Attend social programs and scientific meeting sessions.
2. Register online for the meeting so that we can prepare your registration packet and badge.
3. Make your own travel and hotel reservations (with assistance from Jessica Bolton if needed).
Thanks to a generous gift from Maci Lee's family, the prize will be awarded annually. Maci Lee inspired the formation of Maci's TEAMS non-profit (macisteams.org), which co-sponsors the annual meeting. Maci suffered from side effects of inhaled corticosteroids to treat asthma (Dangers of under-treatment and over-treatment with inhaled corticosteroids in children with asthma - PubMed). CME is provided by West Virginia University.
Deadline for receipt of application: September 23, 2025
An incomplete application will not be processed.
*Only Fellows-in-Training/Residents in approved training programs in Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Medicine/Pediatrics, or Otolaryngology in North America are eligible.
